ANIMART is an international experiential art school addressed to the educational community, young artists and art lovers, who would like to enrich and deepen their knowledge of the arts in a simple, pleasant and comprehensible way.
It is also addressed to all those friends from various countries that would like to become acquainted with an authentic version of present-day Greek culture.
Open courses, workshops, exhibitions, lectures, tours, artistic and outdoors activities are offered as part of the educational process.
Basic prerequisite of the whole process is the creative participation, due to ANIMART’s philosophy that the experience of participation is an inestimable value.
Academics, scientists, professionals, authors and artists, offer and share their knowledge, talents and experience, through a two-way interactive relationship.
The participants through animation, film, video, photography, visual arts, theater, music, literature and dance, enhance their personal expressive codes and further develop their skills.
By using the Internet, ANIMART expands and facilitates the participation of individuals, universities, academic and art institutions from around the world.
Projects exchanged between similar institutions are also an aim of ANIMART.
So ANIMART stands for art, knowledge and entertainment in Athens and a unique area like Monodendri, in the backgrounds of an extraordinary natural environment, where the traditional culture of the region interacts with the modern aesthetic trends.
After seven years we are ready to offer more classes to accommodate us all!
Poet Michalis Ganas is this year guest of honor. His poetry will be approached in various ways.
Certificates of attendance will be given.
